To edit a blog tag, you must be able to write a blog post. (In other words, you must be one of the blog's owners.) With this permission, you are then able to edit tags directly from your blog post or through your Control Panel.

Edit a tag from a blog post

  1. Open your blog post.

  2. Click Edit tags.

    A tag dialog box displays.
  3. Now, you can:

    • Create a new tag by typing it into the text field.
    • Rename or edit the tag by typing over it in the text field and clicking Save.

    • Use an existing tag by clicking Select Tags. Another dialog box then appears listing the tags that have already been used.

  4. Select (or deselect) the check box for the desired tag and click OK, then Save. The tag display changes beneath the blog's synopsis.

Edit a tag from the Control Panel

  1. In the blog post listing Options area, click Edit this post. The Write page displays.

  2. Scroll to the Tags section.

  3. Now, you can:

    • Create a new tag by typing it into the text field.

    • Rename or edit the tag by typing over it in the text field and clicking Publish.
