The Options tab of the forum Create/edit post window gives you advanced post capabilities such as attaching a file, featuring the post, locking out replies, or making it sticky.

The following table describes the thread Options page properties.
| Property | Description |
| File Attachment | Add a file to your post. When you click Add/Update, a dialog window displays. Depending upon your privileges, you can attach a remote or local file. |
| Locked: Do not allow replies | Specifies whether or not you want to allow users to publish replies to the post. |
| Make post a featured item | Makes the post appear in the [[Configure the Featured Content widget|Featured Content]] widget. |
